During this training you will learn how to prepare, conduct and report an internal audit in a practical and effective manner in accordance with the requirements set by IATF16949.

Objective
After this training you will have the auditing skills to review and report on processes and a quality management system in accordance with IATF 16949. In addition, you are certified to perform internal audits or supplier audits within the automotive industry.
Duration
2 days, with the first day covering auditing theory and the second day taking the IATF 16949 1st/2nd party auditor exam (€ 275).
Certified trainer
The trainings are delivered by a senior Symbol consultant with extensive experience within the automotive industry in applying and successfully implementing ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and related techniques such as APQP, FMEA, SPC/MSA, and 8D, among others. Symbol’s trainers are officially IATF16949 1st/2nd party auditor certified to train internal auditors, therefore the consultant and training meets the set requirements for the trainer within the IATF16949 standard.

Incompany: plan the training as a group within your own organization
If the training is provided in-company, an interview will be held prior to that to determine the current knowledge and experience of the participants. Based on the conversation, the exact content and duration of the training will be jointly determined.
Certification
On day two of the training, the IATF 16949 1st/2nd party auditor exam will be administered. This exam consists of a theoretical exam that tests knowledge of IATF 16949 and core tools. In addition, each participant is presented with a real-life case study that also tests audit skills. The participant should verbally explain the development of the case. Everyone who passes the exam will receive a certificate stating that the participant has successfully completed the IATF 16949 1st/2nd party auditor exam and meets the IATF16949 guidelines. Participants who fail the exam will receive a certificate of attendance.
If the training takes place in-company, by mutual agreement, it can be chosen to replace the practical case by the participants actually performing audits in their own organization, which are assessed by Symbol’s consultant.
The exam costs € 275.
