“It’s obviously a weird time right now for everyone and the Corona virus is also creating challenges for business. Fortunately this also brings out the creativity in everyone and in this case at Symbol the “real life” courses were turned into Online meetings.”

Lots of personal attention

“As for these first 2 days of IATF 16949 training, covering mainly theory, it was a perfect fit. With a small group of 5 trainees and a trainer, the talks were easy to follow and there was time and attention for everyone to outline the state of affairs in his/her company. This created a lot of personal attention and nice comparisons between the companies. An online meeting is often a lot more anonymous than in “real life”, but this was not the case during these two days. Partly because of the use of the camera, the contact between the participants was good and familiar. Therefore, I would certainly have no problem following an online meeting this way through Symbol more often.”

Valuable training

“Right at the beginning of the corona homework period, I participated in Symbol’s IATF 16949 training. This was supposed to be classroom-based but was immediately converted to an online version. The timely dispatch of all training materials, the small group, the trainer’s pleasant communication style and the good online connection made it valuable training. Even if meetings do get to continue again, it is definitely worth considering keeping this format. It saves candidates travel time and certainly does not detract from the quality of the training.”

Felt like ‘normal’ training with lots of variety and interaction

“The digital training was well organized! Despite the situation, it felt like a normal training where everyone could share his/her experience and after some explanation we could get to work on assignments. The fact that we were sitting behind a laptop was well taken into account so some short breaks were frequent. Definitely recommended, even in this day and age.”
