The Automotive Engineer exam covers the automotive industry as a whole, including aspects such as its history, characteristics, stages of development, control in the production process and quality management.

Did you take the training course ‘Working in the Automotive Industry with us? Then you can conclude it with the internationally recognized ‘Automotive Engineer’ exam. This exam is at MBO level.

The Automotive Engineer exam covers the automotive industry as a whole, including aspects such as its history, characteristics, stages of development, control in the production process and quality management. The exam includes theoretical and practical level questions. The exam is administered on-line through the ECQA portal.

 

Theory Exam Automotive Engineer

  • Language: English or Dutch (candidates can switch languages during the exam)
  • Number of questions: 64 multiple choice questions
  • Exam duration: 120 minutes
  • Closed book exam
  • Each candidate is given a randomized exam
  • An examiner will be present during the exam
  • The results will be announced immediately after everyone has finished the exam
  • 66% (43 correct answers) needed to pass the exam
